It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olbert Lee Richardson of Richlands, Virginia, born in Raven, Virginia, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clyde Vernon Richardson and Rose Katherine Newberry Richardson; his sons, Ricky Richardson and Randall Richardson; his siblings, Peggy Justice, Betty Byrd and Bill Richardson; and his grandson Eddie Shortt.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Hess Richardson; his children, Judy Carol Richardson Shortt (Darrell) of Raven, Virginia and David Richardson (Connie) of Pounding Mill, Virginia; and his brother George Richardson (Virginia) of Bluefield. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, and One Great-Great Grandchild.
