She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin B. Farmer and Vivian Compton Farmer; her husband James Ward; her brother Danny Farmer; and her stepdaughter Tina Ward.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Neil Ward (Lisa) of Cedar Bluff, VA; her stepsons, Terry Ward (Amanda) of Matewan, WV and Troy Ward (Rosie) of Damascus, VA; and her grandchildren, John Ward (Toni), Michael Ward, Hannah Ward, Whitley Wagner, Tanner Wagner, Frankie Scott (John), Jasmine Ward, Troy James Ward (Michaela), Andrew Stiltner, Brandon Stiltner (Katie), David Mooney and Zachary Arnold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
