It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Smith (Richlands, Virginia), who passed away on October 21, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Wells; her husband Wesley Rufus Smith; her stepmother Bertha Brown Wells; and her siblings, June Arms, Doris Whitt and Hershel Wells.
She is survived by: her parent Exie Ellen Newberry Wells of Russell County, VA.; her daughter Sheri Ann Smith Rasnake (Kenneth) of Richlands, VA; her sister Sue White (Bill) of Wardell, VA; her stepsiblings, Judy Senter (Mike Two) and Donnie Wells (Linda Eddie Wells); her grandchildren, Camie Ellen VanDyke (Shawn), Hillarie Hylton Rasnake and Ann Marie Ward (Shaun); and her great grandchildren, Austin Ward, Brian Ward, James VanDyke, Blake VanDyke, Sadie Gilbert and Devin Ward A.
