It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monroe Pruett of Richlands, Virginia, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Perry Pruett; his siblings, Pat Puckett (Jack) and Charles Pruett; and his brother-in-law Tosh. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Pruett; his children, Tiffaney Owens (Justin) and Charles Pruett (Kristi); his grandchildren, Margaret Owens, Isaac Pruett, Jaelyn Owens and Coltan Owens; his great grandchild Harper Roe Hess; his father-in-law Thomas Patrick, Jr.; and his siblings, Bonita Tosh, Richard Pruett (Bernadette), Bill Pruett (Kelly), Doris Pruett, James Pruett (Shelia) and Teresa Pruett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
