It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie Murphy of Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Smith and Dock Smith; her close friend Jim Brown; and her siblings, Edna Smith and Ronnie Blankenship.
She is survived by: her daughter Melonie Finney (Nathan); her grandchildren, Haley Finney and Tyler Wyatt; her sisters, Mae Smith, Mary Justus, Stella Horn, Opal Stacy and Connie Brewster (Ronnie); her nieces and nephews, Nora Brewster, Melissa Rush, Brittany Horn, Sabrina Horn, Billy Prater, Ricky Stiltner and Jordan Rife; and her close friends, Vanessa Crouse, Jessica Justus and Mackenzie Brown.
