With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Conley Shelton of Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Shelton and Annie Shelton; his daughter Alyssa Shelton; and his siblings, Ralph, Oris Dean Shelton, Lettie Sue Shelton and Emma Lou Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Shelton; his children, Dale Shelton of Detroit, MI, Robert Allen Shelton, Janet Shelton of Detroit, MI and Tina Shreve (Kevin) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his grandson Kaleb Shreve (Destinee); and his close friends, John Matney, Dean Thomason and Richie Wilson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
