It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack D. Childress (Richlands, Virginia), who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lum Childress and Nona Elswick Childress; his wife Carolyn Juanita Compton Childress; and his sisters, Faye Childress and Bernice Childress.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly White (Anthony) of Christiansburg, VA; and his siblings, Carol Horne, Betty Horn, Gladys McClanahan of Belfast, VA, Arland Childress, Baptist Valley, Roger Childress (Bonnie), Cecil Childress, Woody Childress and Ralph Childress (Joyce). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and friends.
