He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Marcus Ferrell and Hattie Lowe Ferrell; his wife Dolly Ferrell; and his brothers, Clyde Ferrell, Jr. and Kenneth "Duke" Ferrell.
He is survived by: his son Bradley Ferrell (Janice) of Raven, Virginia; his sisters, Cornelia Cox of Florida and Dorothy Gilbert of Christiansburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Megan Ferrell, Evan Ferrell and Samantha Brown (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Daisy McAmis and Brady Brown.
