He is survived by: his wife Michelle Hess; his sister Teresa Dye (Larry) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his children, Frank Lester (Barbara) of Swords Creek, VA, Melisha Hess Darnell of Richlands, VA, Cindy Mullins (Keith) of Richlands, VA and Chelsea Fidler (Nathanael) of Logan, OH; his grandchildren, Laken Dison (Cody), Larrell Johns (Ron), Courtnie Lawson (George), Carson Darnell (Cameron Johnson), Chris Darnell (Adara), Brandan Mullins (Meranda), Regan Mullins (George Holmes) and Colton Mullins; and his close friends, Rita Jean Shelton and Della Hoops. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; his fur babies.
