He is survived by: his wife Ann Compton Lester of Claypool Hill, VA; his children, Patricia Lynn Lester, Melissa Sue Lester (David Shelton), Bo Lester (Jammie) of Belfast, VA, Van Lester (Lynn) and Floyd "Bubby" Lester, Jr. (Melissa Barnett); his stepson Brandon Blankenship (Nicki) of Wytheville, VA.; his grandchildren, Jordan Leigh Compton of Richlands, VA, Kelli Jo Nuckles of Bristol, TN, Cody Gerald Compton (Hayley Dawn) of Honaker, VA, Savanah Lynn Roberts (Justin) of White Pine, TN, Chandler Blankenship of Atlanta, GA, Caitlin Cordle (Tyler) of Orlando, FL, Drake Charles (Hope) of Rosedale, VA, Aaron Charles (Tracy) of Richlands, VA and Sierra Shortt of Bristol, VA.; his great grandchildren, Beaux Wyatt Lester, Ryver Dawn Compton, Lacey Dakota Roberts, Codi Rain Compton, Mack Henry Roberts and Brady Charles; and his sisters, Juanita Lane and Glenna Sue Church of Dandridge, TN..
