He is survived by: his wife Anita Sargent; his children, Renata Sargent of Richlands and Erik Sargent of Pulaski, Virginia; his siblings, Tina Gilbert (Rufus) of Richlands, Virginia, Michael Sargent (Teresa) of Las Vegas and Doug Sargent (Loretta) of Honaker, Virginia.; and his grandchildren, Nikki Sargent, Nicklas Sargent, Eiljah Sandifer-Ide, Mila Sargent and Xander Sargent.
