He is survived by: his children, Elisha Elledge of Abingdon, VA and Mike Compton (Letonya) of Claypool Hill, VA; his siblings, Joyce Ann Lester of Claypool Hill, VA and Wayne Compton (Paula) of Pilgrims Knob, VA.; his niece Angie Compton White; his grandchildren, Jessica Compton Dinger (Jessee), Josh Compton, Sarah Compton and Cain Elledge; and his great grandchild Levi Griffith.
