He is survived by: his wife Vesta Marietta Scholz; his children, Caroline Scholz Elpers (Jeff), Mamie Scholz Custer, Earnest David Cole Jr., Nathan John Cole and Salina Hope Harrison; his brother C. Frank Scholz; his sister-in-law Gracie Hulse (Dennis); his grandchildren, Audrey Elpers, Austin Elpers (Sydney), Chelsea Custer Bauman (Phillip), Josh Custer (Ariel), Samantha August Cole, David Tyler Cole, Alexis Willow Cole and Chandler Harris; and his great grandchildren, William James Bauman and Walker Matthew Bauman. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
