With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dona Ray Ferrell (Richlands, Virginia), born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Charlie and Eula Belle Asbury Sayers; her husband Kenneth "Duke" Ferrell; her brother Paul F. Sayers; and her brother-in-law James Thomas Kinder.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Ferrell (Melissa) of Pounding Mill, VA and Belinda Horn (Linkous) of Pounding Mill, VA; her grandchildren, Andrea Perkins (Chris), Caitlyn Horn and Corey Ferrell; her great grandchildren, Addalyn Perkins and Sadie Perkins; her aunt Sarilda Linkous; and her sisters, Linda Kinder (Robert) and Vivian Kinder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private Graveside Service will be conducted at Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery at Claypool Hill, VA with Rev. Stafford Compton officiating.
