He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. "Bill" Helton and Altie I. Vencill Helton. He is survived by: his daughter Nora Nicole Helton; and his siblings, Kay Vencill, Irene Duvall, Janice Arms, Diane Kinder (Doug), Teresa Newberry (James) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Roger Helton (Teresa) and Samuel Helton (Stachia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
