It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Eugene Sparks of Richlands, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer B. Sparks and Manzie Sparks; and his stepmother Ruby Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Frances Lowe Sparks; his daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Justice (Bobby Volpe) of Richlands, Virginia; his grandson Shawn Justice; his siblings, Evelyn Klass, Mary Spivey, Sue Climes, Gilbert Sparks, Judy Sparks and Shirley Wilson; his niece Kim Wilson; and his nephew Don Crigger.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
