He is survived by: his parents, George Ed Ball and Jennie Ellen Rutter Ball; his siblings, Kathryn Patton (James) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Jerry Allen Ball of Claypool Hill, VA; his niece Samantha Barnes; and his nephews, Joshua Barnes, Aiden Grayson Gearhart, Isaiah Waters and Abraham Waters.
