He was predeceased by: his parents, Reece Ball and Rachel Patrick Ball; his wife Helen Reynolds Ball; and his siblings, Burley Clifton Ball, Jessie Ball, Junior Ball, Jack Ball, Ray Ball, Bessie Monk, Clara Brown and Jean Hess.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Dye (Doug) of Wardell, VA and Kenneth Ball of Lebanon, VA; and his grandchildren, Brittnay Shortridge (Nathan) and Melody Ball.
