He is survived by: his parent Nearvie Compton Matney; his wife Evelyn Marie Ratliff Matney; his daughters, Sherrie Belcher of Richlands and Sheilah Cooper (Danny) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his granddaughters, Natasha Cox of Richlands, Daniella Robinette (Dustin) of Cedar Bluff and Sheena Hubbard (Matthew) of Abingdon, VA; his great grandchildren, Gavin Cox, Gabi Cox, Braum, Amara, Rand, Maelah Robinette, Aubrey, Evelyn, Basil and Alexander Hubbard; and his siblings, Arlin Matney (Dennis), Margaret Matney, June Matney of Fredericksburg, Rose Cantrell of Raven and Pauline Smith of Grundy. He is also survived by husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.
