He was predeceased by: his parents, Quilla B. Grimmett and Icie M. Bowles Grimmett; and his siblings, Travis, Lester, Kermit Grimmett and Phyllis Jean.
He is survived by: his brother Paul; his wife Teresa Grimmett; his sons, Matthew and Michael Grimmett; his siblings, James Grimmett (Betty), Ollie Meacham of Port Clinton, OH, Clara Mansfield (Frank) of Hinton, WV, Aretta Jane Finnemore (Robert) of New York and Delilah Campbell of Crab Orchard, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Martin of Narrows, VA, Sherry McCrady of Narrows, VA, Lisa Dunn of Narrows, VA, Linda Thornhill of Pearisburg, VA, Roger Dunn of Narrows, VA and Steven Dunn of Peterstown, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to help offset funeral expenses.
