It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Eugene Hazelwood of Rich Creek, Virginia, born in Elgood, West Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Hazelwood and Myrtle Gunter Hazelwood; his wife Charlotte Conley Hazelwood of Pittsburgh, PA; and his siblings, Illa, Iris, Carson, Charlie, Dana, Phillip, Gaylon Hazelwood, Ronnie Sisk and Wilma Cox.
He is survived by: his children, David Hazelwood (Beth Ann) of New York, Lyn Denise Hazelwood (Carl Clouting) of New Jersey, Kimberly Gregg of New Jersey, Kevin Hazelwood of New Jersey, Timothy Hazelwood of New Jersey and Kristie Robinson (Steve) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, Anna, Brian, Erin, Alex, Thomas, Josh and Alicia; and his great grandchildren, Jamie, Hayley, Kallen and Ellie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Heritage Hall Resident Aid Fund (120 Old Virginia Ave., Rich Creek, VA 24147).
