He was predeceased by: his parents, Erselle Odessa Davis Gautier and Willie Ballard Gautier; and his siblings, Rufus, Richard, Dan, Jimmy, Buster, David, Billy, Beulah, Edna, Nancy and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Clemons Gautier; his children, Wayne Gautier (Sherry), Sheri Smith (Todd), Lisa Young (Mark) and Cindy Gautier (Steve Chafin); his grandchildren, Drew Smith (Hollie), Trevor Smith (Kayla), Haley Ferguson (Wes), Ethan Young, Matthew Gillispie (Kendal Sell) and Alex Gillispie (Reagan Martin); his great grandchildren, Kieryn, Anduin, Emma and Easton Smith; his sisters, Barbara Gautier and Shelley Spicer; and his son-in-law Brian Gillispie.
