He was predeceased by: his parents, York Powers and Julia Powers; and his brothers, Jerry Powers, Sr., Hugh Pat Powers, Bobby Powers, Leonard Powers, Alton Powers and Lowell Eugene Powers.

He is survived by: his niece Sharon; his close friend Ronnie; his siblings, Wayne Powers (Vonda), Johnny Powers (Judy) and Cynthia Ward; his sister-in-law Freda Powers; and his caregiver Sharon Stanley. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
