It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Walter Cox Sr. of Rice, Virginia, born in Farmville, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stinson Cox and Beulah Davis Cox; and his daughter Tammy Jane Cox Adkins. He is survived by: his caregiver Veronica Blevins; his children, Kenneth Walter Cox Jr. (Ashley), Roger Blevins II, Angela Cox Dudley (Gary), Beverly Cox and Darrell Cox; his grandchildren, Sabrina Cox Long (Kester), Justin Cox, Roger Blevins III, Pattie Blevins, Coby Dudley, Sierra Mottley, Jordon Mottley, Shirley Adkins, Tori Mottley, Dylan Mottley, Skylar Dase, Addilyn Cox, Austin Dase, Kinsley Dase and Bailey Dase; and his significant other Veronica "Vickie" Blevins. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM.
