He was predeceased by: his son Andy Baldwin. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Richard Baldwin (Trish), Kay Woosley, Tracy Stephens (Mark), Ronald Baldwin (Anne), Kimberly Davis (Ted), Leroy Kirk and Pam Hite; and his grandchildren, Annick, Stephen, Preston Baldwin, Jamie, Jonathan Woosley, Kelley Davis, Max Baldwin, Bradley, Kyle Davis, Lionel, Dominique and Kyrann Hite.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shorter Funeral Home (1905 S Main St, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Virginia Veteran's Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 7059, where Joe was a life member.
