It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann E. Williams (Rice, Virginia), who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice Epps and James Williams; her children, Clarence Branch, III and Annette L. Williams; and her boyfriend Raymond Reed, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Mattie Allen (Carlton) and Demetria Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Amiriah Wynn, Zuri Williams of Winston-Salem, NC, Mark Bates, Jr. (Jacob), Matthew Bates (Duck) of Chesterfield, VA and Ladarius Williams of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchild Nesiyah Bates of Chesterfield, VA; her brother Wilson Todd, Jr. (Earnestine) of Sumter, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Mary B. Johnson of Upper Marlboro, MD, Roberta Witcher, Irene B. Fowlkes and Virginia Moultrie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
