He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover C. Wilson Sr. and Mary Hume Wilson; his brother Christian D. Wilson; and his nephew James D. Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sullivan; his children, Grover A. "Tony" Wilson and Diane W. Jobe (Freddie); his grandchildren, Chelsea Kearns (Michael), Spencer Wilson (Sydney), Samantha Keithline, Dalton Jobe (Marybeth), Emily Koontz (Hunter) and Devin Jobe; his great grandchildren, Anna Kearns, Blake, Kaia Keithline and Grayson Koontz; his sister Rose Jones (Wayne) of Madison; and his caregivers, Leona, Debbie and Samantha.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory (31440 Constitution Hwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the East Orange Ruritan Club Scholarship Fund or the Wounded Warrior Project.
