She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Woodward and Amy Morehouse Woodward; her husband Walter Byrd Gore; and her children, Thomas Byrd Gore and Sandra Gayle Tatum.

She is survived by: her son Ronald (Susan); her grandchildren, Will Gore (Beth), Anne Gore, Amy Kidd, Jen Tatum, Kelly Tatum, Elizabeth Gore and Sarah Gore; and her niece Donna G. Alvey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Flower Committee.
