He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Molly L. Gregory; his children, Jennifer Merola (David Merola) of Summit, NJ and William W. McLaughlin (Kristen McLaughlin) of Danville, VA.; his grandchildren, Christopher Merola of Summit, NJ., Mackenzie Merola of Summit, NJ., Jayden Dagner of Summit, NJ. and Riley Dagner of Summit, NJ.; his siblings, Mary Tierney of Clifton, NJ, Madeleine Brod of Smithfield, ME, Eileen McLaughlin of Potomac Falls, VA and James McLaughlin of Leonardtown, MD; his daughter Meaghan Dagner (Tyrrell Dagner) of Summit, NJ.; and his parents, Dr. William J. McLaughlin and Madeleine Clark. He was also cherished by 14 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Nationals Youth Academy.
