With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nimrod Merwyn Combs of Reston, Virginia, born in Linden, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nimrod C. Combs and Louise Marshall Combs; his wife Joyce Tyree Combs; and his siblings, Cornelia Morton, Sarah Warner and William Combs.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Combs of Ashburn, VA and Ronald Combs of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings, Barbara Strother of Winchester, VA, Jean C. Brisco of Stephens City, VA and Larrymore R. Combs of Pearland, TX; and his grandchildren, Morgan Combs, Royce Combs, Ronald Combs, Jr. and Desiree Combs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He donated to several charities.
