With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Catherine Sullenberger (Reston, Virginia), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ziegler and Marie Kirchner; her husband William T. Sullenberger; and her brothers, Robert Ziegler and Edward A. Ziegler.

She is survived by: her children, William G. Sullenberger (Becky), Jan Vidmar (Thomas), Lyn Royer and Mark Sullenberger (Monica); and her grandchildren, Krista, Ben, Billy, Julia, Rob, Sam, Jeff, Kevin, Mark, Natalie, Donnie, Lara and Tommy. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
