He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Doris; and his niece Courtney Schilling. He is survived by: his wife Francie; his siblings, John (Joanne), Carol and Cathy Putnick (Mark); his sister-in-law Vanessa Morenzi (Mark Ruggerio); his nieces and nephews, Joseph Schilling, Kate Daniels (Kevin), Lara Ruggerio and Steve Putnick (April); and his great-nephew Patrick Daniels.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Karl's memorial Mass will be private, but may be streamed through this link.
