It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lamar Beasley (Reston, Virginia), who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jannette; his children, David (Nicolete) and Karen; his granddaughters, Susan and Elizabeth Mazzola; and his brother Jerry (Judy) of Middletown, OH.

After his Forest Service career, he became Director of the non-profit organization, National Forest Foundation.
