He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Barnek (Mike) and Elizabeth Barnek; and his brother James (Jim). He is survived by: his sister Carole Fowkes (Dale) of Bowie, MD; his nieces and nephews, Laurie Fowkes and Michael Fowkes (Heather); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grant, Kelsey and Caitlin.
