Janet Skinner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2020, at the age of 88, Janet Skinner (Reston, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Harlan Skinner; and her nieces and nephews, Andy Davidson and Ellie Read Smith. She is survived by: her children, Ginny Skinner of Winder, GA, Terri Skinner Johnson (Chandler) of Rydal, PA and Elizabeth Skinner Williams (Jim) of Reston, VA.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson, David Johnson, Jon Skinner, Rob Williams and Emanuel Johnson; her sisters, Jeanne Skidmore Davidson and Freddie Skidmore Read; and her nieces and nephews, Will Davidson, Peggy Read Jaynes, Marian Read, Nancy Read and James Read.
Janet started work with the Helen Ross McNabb Center in the late 1960s, serving on either the Center Board or the Helen Ross McNabb Foundation Board until 1998 during the years she was in Knoxville.
