It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Bohannon Pittenger of Reston, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Bohannon and Helen Redmond Bohannon. She is survived by: her brother Ray M. Bohannon of Ashland, Virginia; her husband Donald Pittenger of Reston, Virginia; her children, Michael Atkinson of Centreville, Virginia, Elizabeth Sturgeon of Sterling and Ellen Pittenger of Richmond, Virginia; and her grandchildren, William Sturgeon, Mia Sturgeon and Laina Darter.
