With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Donahue in Reston, Virginia, born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, James Lucey and Frank Liberatore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Donahue (Parnin); his children, James Donahue, Meghan Donahue and Moira Lail; his children-in-law, Stephanie Nobbe, Jason Chernoff and Travis Lail; his grandchildren, Finn Donahue, Rory Lail and Louise Lail; and his siblings, Sheila Lucey, Tom Donahue (Wanna), Mary Liberatore, Betty DeRosa (Patrick) and Diane Hamed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's name may be directed to The Alzheimer's Association.
