He was predeceased by: his parents, Blake Ballard Poe (Jack) and Nada Lammie Poe; and his siblings, Lois Poe, Charles, Bill and Roy Poe.
He is survived by: his spouse Frances Wilburn Poe; his son Jeffrey Light (Kristine Heefner) of Aldie, VA; his granddaughters, Megan Light of Tampa, Amanda Storey Light of Tampa and Allison Heefner of Aldie, VA; his brothers, Russell Poe (Ann) and Roger Poe (Cathy) of Bluefield, WV; and his sister-in-law Vangie Poe of Bluefield, WV. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Dudley Memorial from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veteran Charity of your choice.
