He was predeceased by: his wife Michelle De Cou-Landberg. He is survived by: his brother George of Apex, NC; and his children, Vicki Peters of Westerville, OH, Claire De Cou of Centreville, VA, Michael De Cou of Mesa, AZ and Jack De Cou of Alpine, WY. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two nieces, and a nephew.
