Catherine Flynn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2021, at the age of 89, Catherine Flynn (Reston, Virginia), born in Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Winzenburg Benson and Dr. Thomas Benson; her husband Edward M. Flynn; her foster son Angel Luis Rodriguez; her siblings, Eleanor Knudson of Mandan, Barbara McMullen of Columbus and Thomas Benson of Denver Colorado; her children, Dr. Thomas Flynn of Kalamazoo, John Flynn of Huntington, N. Y., Theresa Heaney of Fairfax Station, Virginia and Daniel Flynn of Clifton; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Bridget, Mark Flynn of Huntington, NY, Kate, Annie, Ian, Aidan, Joey Flynn of Kalamazoo, Liam, Brenna, Eamon, Clare Heaney of Fairfax Station and James Edward Flynn.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the charity Priests for Life (priestsforlife.org) in Kay's memory.
