He is survived by: his parents, Scott Smith and Elizabeth Gilbert Smith; his sister Lily; his grandparents, Lance Gilbert of Reston, Joyce Summers of Reston, John, Karen Smith of Hickory, Linda and Roland Floan of Cornelius; and his cousins, Julia, Simon, Daniel, Robbie and Alexander. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and extended family.
