He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sigismund Emmerich Athanasius Raczynski and Bertha-Luise Raczynski; his wife Dorita; his close friend Corinne Moore; his daughters, Astrid Raczynski Atkins (Randolph) and Carolina Duall (Stephen); his grandchildren, Whitney, Karina, Isabelle, Sebastian, Alexander and Anna; and his siblings, Theresa Stong, Michael Raczynski (Margarita Vorwerk), Armgard Raczynski (Marcos Zentilli), Dagmar Raczynski and Christiane Raczynski (Juan Valdes). He was also cherished by friends and family.
In addition to his various professional positions, Andreas felt a deep obligation to preserve his family legacy by serving on the board of the Raczynski Foundation at the National Museum of Poznan in Poland.
