She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey W. Frazier, Sr. and Mary Cornell Frazier; and her husband Joseph Franklin Hitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Hitt (Ronnie Meadows) of Remington, VA and Cindi Hitt (Steve Merritt) of Orange, VA; and her siblings, Harvey W. Frazier, Jr. of Culpeper and Eva F. Hoff of Remington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company.
