It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Jones of Remington, Virginia, born in Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollie Sisk and Erie Sisk of Culpeper, VA; and her brother Hollie Lee Sisk II (John Jones) of Southern Pines, NC. She is survived by: her husband Johnny; her children, Steve (Gayle) of Cape Canaveral, FL, Sue (Scott) of Remington, VA and Jeanie (Ed) of Remington, VA.; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica (Joey), Lyndsay (Michael), David, Kelly, Tara (Stone) and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Bryce, Emma, Carter and Marileigh.
Due to COVID 19, the funeral home is following the mandate by the governor for gatherings and religious services. Please wear a face mask at all times and practice social distancing in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Our Father's House in Culpeper, VA or the Remington United Methodist Church.
