We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2020, at the age of 93, Donald George Sr. of Reedville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Ira George and Inez George; his wife Jane Courtney George of Kinsale; his daughter Beverley George Greene of Suffolk; and his siblings, Ira, Robert, Cullen, Audrey and Kaye.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Haydon "Donny" George, Jr. of Fairport and William Courtney "Billy" George; his daughter-in-law Debbie of Chesterfield; his sister-in-law Nell Carter Courtney of Richmond, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Donald Greene of Suffolk, Jason Greene of Suffolk, Kevin Greene of Suffolk, Kati Leigh Frye of Woodbridge and Kendall Knickerbocker; his great grandchildren, Kannon, Hudson, Avery and Juliette; his nephew Bobby George; and his niece Audrey Pretlow Mitchell (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
