He is survived by: his wife Judy G. Kern; his children, Stephanie Kern of Silver Spring, MD and Philip Kern of Rockville, MD; his grandson Alexander Kern; his siblings, Bonnie Presley of Maryland, Kathy Murgalis of Maryland and Allan Kern of Rockwall, TX; and his pets, Cody and Cooper.
