It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Pauline Haskins (Red Oak, Virginia), who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Giles and Estelle Smith Giles; her son Stanley Williams; her husband Wendell Haskins; her son Ed Jr.; her siblings, Dorothy Giles Spratley, Elnora Giles Arrington, Anna Giles Worsham, Rosa Giles Hill, Arthur E. Giles and Ed Morris Giles; and her godson Benjamin Worsham.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eddie Morris (Bubba) and Richmond; her former husband Lloyd Williams, Sr.; her son Lloyd (Ed Jr.); her grandchildren, Joyce Valentine, Sterling Yancey, Douglas Yancey, Lloyd Williams III and Dawn Holland; her daughter-in-law Deana Williams; and her friend Wallicia Lacks. She is also survived by family members include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
