He is survived by: his wife Susan Skipper Boyd; his children, Anthony Wood, Dashon Brown, Daquan Brown, Camelia Wood of Clover, VA, Olympia Boyd of South Hill, VA, Demika Wood of Wylliesburg, VA and Roszetta Skipper of South Boston, VA; his parent Minnie Estelle Boyd; his brothers, Robert of Red Oak, VA, James Boyd of Red Oak, VA, Dennis Burwell of Red Oak, VA and Arby Redd of Chase City, VA; his aunts, Hazel Mosley and Elvira Boyd; his mother-in-law Rosa Skipper; his cousins, Christine Boyd, Charles Boyd, Clifton Boyd, Darrell Mosley, Arlene Staten and Carolyn Boyd; and his close friends, Ronnie, Linda Howard, Charlie Skelton, James Redd, George Redd, Andrew Redd and Oliver Staten. He is also survived by six sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law; special family members that treated him as a brother.
