It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Brooks of Red Oak, Virginia, born in South Boston, Virginia, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Edward Brooks and Lucy Mae Ghee Brooks; and her aunts and uncles, Mary Frances Mosley, Lucy Mae Redd, Willie Ghee and Samuel Ghee.
She is survived by: her daughter Felissa M. Brooks (Terrence) of Red Oak, VA; her grandchildren, Jaliyah Walton and Tykeria Brooks; and her siblings, Rose Marie Brooks of Red Oak, VA, Joeann Smith (Walter) of Red Oak, VA, Henrietta Mosley (Alvin) of Red Oak, VA, Lee Brooks Jr. (Pamela) of Scottsburg, VA and Clarence Brooks of Red Oak, VA. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law.
