She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie S. Haire and Duncan Brite Haire. She is survived by: her sister Esther Price; and her children, Joseph Hewitt (Joan), Larry Hewitt, Eddie Hewitt (Martha), Jonathan Schafer (Keri), Robert Schafer, Patricia Richey (James) and Teresa Inge (A. J.).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.
